Peter Post, known by all in the construction industry as “Hoppy”, started his roof structure construction career as an apprentice carpenter in July of 1963. In the years since, he has worked through his assignments as a craftsman, job site supervisor, estimator and construction manager. He is proud to have been tutored by the founding leaders of the modern-day roof structure industry. In May of 1989, he founded Panelized Structures, Inc. Hoppy was instrumental in developing the current “hybrid” panelized roof system used in the majority of the roof structures in the western United States today. Hoppy is proud to have developed a reward system for his employees that recognizes excellence and demands safe construction methods. Though semi-retired he continues to find ways to motivate his associates to create new and better methods of construction.
