Management Team
Peter "Hoppy" Post
Chief Executive Officer - Modesto Office
Peter Post, known by all in the construction industry as “Hoppy”, started his roof structure construction career as an apprentice carpenter in July of 1963. In the years since, he has worked through his assignments as a craftsman, job site supervisor, estimator and construction manager. He is proud to have been tutored by the founding leaders of the modern-day roof structure industry.
In May of 1989, he founded Panelized Structures, Inc. Currently he operates as the CEO. He is the qualifying person and holds contracting licenses in California, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, Hawaii, Washington, Utah, New Mexico and Texas. With his no-nonsense “nuts and bolts” approach, he has developed an organization comprised of hand-picked, skilled and experienced management and field personnel.
First and foremost, Hoppy believes in treating all with respect and dignity and that people make the organization. It is for this reason, he has created a management system where productivity and achievement are both acknowledged and rewarded. He embraces the idea that a safe work environment begins with pro-active upper-management; therefore, he developed a safety program where the “bosses” are held accountable as the safety leaders. He also stresses the importance of employee development and encourages his associates to engage in higher education and seminar training.
Hoppy helped develop the current “hybrid” panelized roof system used in the majority of the roof structures in the western United States today. He continues to find ways to motivate his associates to create new and better methods of construction. He supports several charities, chief of which is the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute.
